Joris Hoebe, President
Joris is a film director who has evolved into a film and media entrepreneur and innovator from the northern Netherlands. Since 2018, he has been actively building a regional film industry, focusing on talent development through the incubator CineNord and the creators' collective New Noardic Wave. He is currently working on establishing a regional film fund. Once that is in place, he plans to return to filmmaking with an ambitious Frisian slasher film aimed at captivating a global audience.

Mette Bihl, Head of Outreach
Mette is a talent developer and director at Film Workshop Odense. Through talent programmes and production support, she helps shape the filmmakers of the future. She has many years of experience as a producer and planner of mainly documentaries, and in 2009 she joined Film Workshop Odense as a film consultant and later as director. Her work has taken her to many festivals - both as a jury member and as a presenter. This has given her a keen eye for good visual storytelling as well as the people behind it.

Guido Franken, Head of Administration
Guido is head of CineSud and the Limburg Film Fund and founder of Screen Talent NL. Since he started working in the audiovisual field, his aim is to create more opportunities and chances for underrepresented talents and voices in the audiovisual industry.

Nicole Jones, Head of Programmes
Nicola began her career at PWC as a consultant and auditor for film projects. In 2004, she joined the German Federal Film Board (FFA) as a film funding consultant, later becoming the personal advisor to CEO Peter Dinges, coordinating international affairs. In 2016, she became director of the German Children’s Media Festival Golden Sparrow. As head of the German Children’s Media Foundation, she also led the KIDS Regio initiative. In 2023, she joined the MOIN Film Fund Hamburg Schleswig-Holstein, focusing on fostering the region's film industry, particularly short films and innovative media.

Sophie Jones, Head of Communication
Sophie is a life-long cinephile whose relationship with film began the moment she saw Spirited Away as a nine-year-old girl. She is the External Affairs Manager for GMAC Film, an open access media centre that delivers a creative and artistic programme for all people, regardless of age, background or income to acquire the skills, knowledge, resources and confidence to realise their ambitions in film and elsewhere in the creative sector. With a first class degree in English Literature & Film and a Masters in Film, her appreciation of literature and film runs deep.
